Job Overview:
As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be the creative and operational leader of our culinary team, directly reporting to the Executive Chef. This role is for a passionate and experienced culinary professional who can lead, innovate, and execute a superior dining experience. You will be responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen, from menu execution to managing a talented brigade of chefs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to the highest standards.
Lead and mentor a team of kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain budget and minimize waste.
Develop new and innovative menu items that reflect our resort's culinary vision and guest expectations.
Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen.
Qualifications & Skills:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a high-volume, quality-focused kitchen.
Strong culinary skills and a creative approach to food and menu development.
Proven ability to manage and motivate a large kitchen team.
Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
A culinary degree or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
